Syed Ahmed passes away
Former cabinet secretary and alternate director of Bangladesh in the World Bank Syed Ahmed died at Bamrungrad Hospital in Bangkok yesterday morning.
Syed Ahmed, a member of Civil Service of Pakistan (CSP), served the government of Bangladesh in various capacities including secretary of the ministries of information and health.
He left behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
