Amjad, Imran on 2-day remand

Piaru, President of Dhanmondi Club, was murdered on February 29 on the club premises.

Dhanmondi police produced Amjad and Imran before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court, Dhaka at 2:00 pm with a prayer for a ten-day remand. But, the court granted two-day remand for them.

In the prayer, police said earlier four witnesses in the case gave judicial statements to a magistrate and mentioned the names of Amjad and Imran for their alleged involvement in the killing.

So, it needs intensive interrogation of the two to determine all involved in the killing.
