'Take action against land grabbers'

The meeting urged the district committees to take remedial measures against the land grabbers and prevent grabbing of land properties by an individual or an organisation.

be taken against government officials and employees if found involved in such grabbing.

The meeting asked the district committees to hold meeting on or before 8th of every month and send the resolutions to the land ministry immediately.

If any one aggrieved with the decisions of the district committee, he could file an appeal with the national committee, the meeting said.

The meeting also decided that the deputy police commissioner of any metropolitan area would be included as a member of the district committee instead of the police superintendent.
