Two killed, one drowned in city

A rickshawpuller was killed when a speeding truck hit the rickshaw from behind at around 12:15pm at Gabtoli Mazar Road in Mirpur.

The victim Abdur Rashid, 40, died on the spot.

Meanwhile, police recovered the sliced body of an unidentified woman from beside the Tongi railway bridge in Uttara.

The victim, aged about 20, was clad in salwar and kamij with a scarf.

A two-year-old boy Mohammad Yousuf drowned in the lake of Rampura.His father Mohammad Sidu rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
