SSC examinee slaughtered
Unidentified assailants slaughtered an SSC examinee at village Alampur under Moheshpur upazila in Jhenidah district on Wednesday night.
The victim was identified as Nazmul Hossain, 16, son of one Badar Uddin.
Family sources said Nazmul went out of their home at about 5:00pm for going to local Bhanna bazar.
According to police, the gang swooped on Nazmul when he was returning home from the bazar at about 8.45pm and severed his head from the body.
The locals found the body and the head in the roadside field next morning.
On information, police recovered the body and the head and sent them to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
