World Vedic Confce ends
A three-day World Vedic Conference and a gathering of Hindu saints was held at the shrine of Chandranath Dham at Sitakunda in Chittagong on Friday with a special prayer for world peace.
The theme of the first day discussion was 'Communal Harmony and World Peace', while the 'Significance of the National Shrine Chandranath Dham' was the theme of the second day. The theme of the concluding day discussion was ' The Renowned Saints of the Sub-continent.'
Organised by Sitakunda Shrine Committee, the programme began at 3.00pm and continued till 11.00pm daily.
Advocate Suvas Chandra Lala presided.
