Tarun Dal member stabbed to death in Khulna
A young man was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants at Gallamari in the city yesterday evening.
The victim, Baratul Islam Liton, 27, was a member of the city unit of Jatiyatabadi Tarun Dal.
Police said Liton came under attack at about 6:30pm while he was attending a meeting in front of a local office of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
He was rushed to Khulna Surgical Clinic, but the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
No-ono was arrested in connection with the killing till 8:45pm yesterday.
