Oust govt movement soon

"The days are not far away when people of the country will launch a united movement to oust the present government," she said while addressing a group of physicians at the party's Dhanmondi office.

Hasina said people have lost their confidence in the government. "There are instances that people have ousted such anti-people rulers through mass movement," she added.

She renewed the appeal to all democratic forces to unite for the movement against the government.

"The ruling men have created a panicky situation in the country and it is time to confront every blow of them," she said.

She blamed the ruling party-backed criminals for yesterday's attack on AL leaders in Munshiganj and said the incident proved that the godfathers have been governing the country.

Professor ASM Ruhul Haq, Shahrier M Sadek, Quamrul Hasan Shamim, Kaiser Nasrullah Khan and Julfikar Lenin also spoke.
