AL decides on joining JS today
The session, which began Thursday, resumes today at 5:00pm after a two-day interval.
Deputy Leader of the Opposition Abdul Hamid said, "The possibility of joining this session is slim. The parliamentary party will take the final decision."
"There is a possibility that we may join the session to protest political killings and government's misrule. We will keep up our movement both in parliament and on the streets," a top policy maker of the AL said.
The meeting will also determine the issue of nominating the AL deputies to the parliamentary standing committees on different ministries, said a source in the party.
The AL ignored the request last week of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister and BNP Secretary General Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan to join the session, calling it eyewash.
