JCD activist beaten up at DU hall

Mostafizur Rahman Mustak, a third year student of linguistic department, was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital with serious head injures.

The incident was a sequel to factional infighting, sources said, adding that the supporters of JCD hall unit president and general secretary beat up Mustak, who belongs to other faction, with an iron rod at his room.

Earlier, Mustak also beat up one of the attackers about 10 day ago, sources said.

Tension is running high at the hall.
