BCL strike cripples CU
Chittagong University (CU) was paralysed due to a strike called by the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) protesting the new initiatives regarding eligibility for the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations and fees hike by the university authorities.
No scheduled class or examination was held and the central library remained closed. However, the shuttle trains and university buses plied.
