SSC, HSC exams on 3 subjects in Nov, Dec if Covid situation improves

Secondary School Certificate, Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent exams of 2021 will be held in November and December this year, only if Covid-19 situation in the country improves.

Education Minister Dipu Moni said this during a virtual press briefing today.

SSC and equivalent exams will be held in the second week of November, while HSC and equivalent exams in the first week of December, the minister said.

The exams will be taken on shortened syllabuses of three group-based elective subjects, she added.

For the rest of the subjects, the assessment will be done based on assignments.

On the other hand, if the Covid-19 situation is not under control within this time, results of SSC, HSC will be prepared based on the previous academic results of the students and their assignment copies, she added.
