Primary Education Completion Examination (PECE) for fifth graders is likely to be held in late November or early December if Covid-19 situation improves, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain said today.

"We have preparations for holding the exams. We plan on taking the exams if Covid-19 situation improves," the state minister said at a press conference at the Secretariat.

The exams will be held on shortened syllabus, he said.

According to the government plan, PECE examinees will have daily in-person classes once schools and colleges reopen from September 12.
