Comilla University starts taking in-person exams

The authorities of Comilla University started taking in-person exams from this morning, maintaining health guidelines, for the third time during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The exams in the first shift started at 10am, said Md Nurul Karim Chowdhury, controller of examinations of the university.

Exams of 11 departments of the university -- five of honours, six of masters -- will be held in two shifts today, he said.

"We have issued exam schedules of 18 semesters -- 13 of honours, 15 of masters," the controller said, adding that authorities have taken all preparations regarding holding the tests.

Dalilur Rahman, registrar (in-charge) had issued a circular yesterday containing seven instructions to follow during the exam. The instructions include wearing masks, no entry of outsiders on campus, maintaining distance, no loitering on campus or holding public gatherings.
