Hong Kong: Dragon boat race

The Dragon Boat Festival is one of the favourites among a variety of Chinese festivals celebrated in the Hong Kong SAR.

Long boats with dragon heads, the drumming and revellers’ cheering evolved into colourful events and the modern dragon boat races characterise the festival of today.
