Syrian joins UN talks

The Syrian government's delegation returned to Geneva yesterday for the resumption of talks focusing on constitutional reform as well as elections with UN mediator after more than a week's absence. Expectations are low as President Assad's fate has become a stumbling block for a breakthrough.
