What a shame!

Recently the government has decided to revoke the freedom fighters' certificates of five top bureaucrats for forgery and not following proper procedures in obtaining the certificates. The five are Privatisation Commission Chairman Molla Waheeduzzaman (former secretary of the Prime Minister's Office), Health Secretary Niaz Uddin Mia, Public Service Commission Secretary AKM Amir Hossain, former Liberation War Affairs secretary KH Masud Siddiqui (currently an OSD) and former joint secretary of the Liberation War Affairs ministry Abul Kashem Talukder (now an OSD). We wonder how such high profile people could do this at the fag end of their service life to extend their job tenures. Shame on these fraudsters!
