Cloudfare server malfunctions results several Bangladeshi & int'l websites outage for more than an hour

Globally and locally several major websites are down as they are showing 500 Internal Server Error due to a malfunction in a major cloud computing network. Cloudflare, the globally renowned Content delivery network, reported a critical incident at 12.43 pm, noting that connectivity had been "disrupted in broad regions".

Later, Cloudflare announced that it had implemented a fix at 1.20 pm and at 4.08 pm, it tweeted that the "incident has been resolved". 

Readers of The Daily Star have reached out to us and reported several global and local sites, including Bangladesh Sangbad Sangshta (BSS), Dhaka Tribune and Somoy News Online, have been found showing 500 Internal Server errors. 

Globally, several popular news such as Shopify, Ancestory, Zendesk etc is also down.
