BDjobs to host sales job fair in Chattogram

With the aim to create 3,000j new sales jobs, local job portal Bdjobs.com is hosting 'Sales Cakri Mela' on September 8 at the GEC Convention Center, Chattogram. 

To cater for the increasing demand of field sales forces for the rapidly growing retail sector and consumer goods manufacturers, Bdjobs.com is hosting this day-long fair, which will start at 9 am and will continue till 5 pm. 

Renowned companies from consumer goods manufacturing and retail sector companies are going to take part in the fair. Companies will collect CVs from interested job seekers and will do spot interviews.

In a press conference, Mr Prokash Roy Chowdhury, Director of Marketing at Bdjobs.com, said that millions of people are working as sales personnel in different companies across the country. There is a large number of unemployed youths but they are not willing to work in the sales sector. Therefore, the rapidly growing business sectors like consumer goods manufacturers and retailers are suffering to meet their increasing demand for salesmen. As such, this sales job fair aims to bridge these employers and job seekers.

Companies like PRAN-RFL, Meghna Group, Partex Group, Nitol-Niloy Group, BSRM, KDS Group, Superstar Group, GPH Ispat and Delivery Tiger have confirmed their participation in the fair. The fair is being organised in association with a2i and BRAC Skills Development Program.
