Apple launches 'Creator Studio' subscription service

By Tech & Startup Desk

Apple has introduced a new subscription service called Apple Creator Studio, bundling several of its professional creative applications into one package for $12.99 per month or $129 per year.

The subscription, launching on January 28, provides access to the video editing software Final Cut Pro, the music production tool Logic Pro, and the image editing application Pixelmator Pro across both Mac and iPad. It also includes premium content and new AI-powered features for the company's free productivity apps, namely Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform.

In an official announcement, Apple highlighted specific updates coming with the bundle, including new AI-assisted tools for music creation in Logic Pro and transcript-based search for video editing in Final Cut Pro. Pixelmator Pro will also be available on iPad for the first time with Apple Pencil support, says Apple.

The company noted that users who already own the standalone versions of these apps can continue to use them. The free versions of Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform will remain available, with the subscription adding extra templates and a media library.
