Britain will ban the sale of new petrol and diesel-powered cars from 2040 as part of a plan to get them off the roads altogether 10 years later, environment minister Michael Gove says.

Stanford economist and RetinkX founder Tony Seba predicts that the global oil business will end by 2030, forecasting that the electrification of transportation would turn fossil-fueled obsolete, Indian Express reports.
