Lok Sabha, the lower House of India’s parliament, extends the time for a Joint Parliamentary Committee to submit its report on the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill which seeks to give citizenship to “persecuted” Hindus from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
