Witness to the past

During the Language Movement, Chittagong roared and lit up like never before. If the Language Movement is a significant history, then Chittagong College and the Laldighi Field are its iconic landmarks. Both the landmarks stand today as witnesses of the past, starting from the movement against the British rule.

Laldighi Field was the core location and focal point of all political decisions and activities during all historical movements and aspiring events that took place in Chittagong during Bangladesh's struggle to identify itself, as a sole and separate country.
