"One, two, three, all eyes on me!"

As the teacher utters these words, in an instant, followed by the scurrying of little feet, a hush falls over the class. All the eager eyes look directly at her, waiting to devour the day's fascinating lessons- be it of numbers and figures, or letters and words.

Teach for Bangladesh (TFB) has the Fellows of the first two batches distributed among 12 government primary schools, 2 to 4 in each, who are persistently trying to eradicate education inequity. In Amtali Government Primary School, Maliha Ahsan, a TFB Fellow for the past year and 8 months, is the homeroom teacher for class 3. Her day starts and ends with her students, their dreams, and new ideas on making them come true. Read about how a Fellow goes about her day, in this week's spotlight.
