'Who will give me my life back?'

When fifth grader Piara Akhter was sent to jail, she was only 12.

After spending her entire childhood and her teen years -- 24 years of her life in total -- in Barisal District Jail, she was finally released on June 10 this year.

A child was accused and forced to confess to a murder. When, after spending one third of her life in prison, she asks, "who will give me my life back?" -- who can indeed provide a logical answer?
