Liberation War fundraiser repaid with name listed among embezzlers

The story of Gouranga Saha Roy is one of cruel irony -- of being among the diaspora Bangalees who raised funds for the Liberation War of 1971 only to find his name listed with embezzlers after.

Now in his old age -- during the golden jubilee of the country's independence -- trying to recoup his dignity, he is tired of dealing with administrative complications of the same country, the birth of which he is inextricably linked to.
