In a powerful confluence of music, memory, and mission, the Cancer Connect Initiative Foundation (CCI Foundation) successfully hosted “Harmony of Hope: Concert for Cancer Connect”, a landmark fundraising concert aimed at supporting cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers across Bangladesh.

Held at the Multipurpose Hall of the Bangladesh Military Museum in Dhaka yesterday, the evening brought together a full house of music lovers, health advocates, and philanthropists. The highlight of the night was the much-anticipated return of the legendary Bangladeshi band Renaissance, performing live after a long interval—solely to support the cause of cancer care and awareness.

The concert unfolded as a deeply nostalgic journey, with the audience singing along to timeless classics, including the evergreen “Mon shudhu mon chueche”, creating an atmosphere charged with emotion and collective remembrance. For many attendees, the evening was not only about music, but about solidarity with thousands of families affected by cancer.

The initiative was further strengthened by the support of Kazi Farms Group, which came forward as the title sponsor, underscoring the growing role of corporate leadership in social and health-focused causes.

According to the organizers, all proceeds from the concert will go directly toward CCI Foundation’s ongoing efforts to provide guidance, psychosocial support, and community-based assistance to cancer patients and their caregivers. The Foundation, led by medical professionals and volunteers, continues to play an increasingly visible role in building public awareness and compassionate networks around cancer care in Bangladesh.

With Harmony of Hope, CCI Foundation demonstrated how culture, community, and corporate responsibility can unite to transform entertainment into impact—leaving behind not just applause, but renewed hope.
