Baki disappoints in Tokyo
Bangladesh's shooter Abdullahel Baki finished 41st among 47 competitors in the 10m air rifle event of the Tokyo Olympics on Sunday morning.
The two-time Commonwealth Games silver medallist scored a disappointing 619.8 points in the qualification round to finish seventh from the bottom.
China's Haraon Yang finished top of the qualifying table with an Olympic record of 632.7 points.
The eighth and final qualifier for the final round, China's Lihao Sheng, scored 629.2 points.
This was Baki's second participation in the Olympics. The 31-year-old had finished 25th among 50 competitors in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016 with a score of 621.2 points.
