Taskin removes Bavuma in first over
Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed removed South Africa captain Temba Bavuma to carry on from where he left off following his four-fer against the Netherlands in T20 World Cup's Super 12 fixture in Sydney today.
With an out-swinger that pitched well outside the off stump, Taskin deceived Bavuma (2 off 6) to a caught-behind dismissal in the final delivery of the first over.
Miraz was introduced in the second over and was greeted with a boundary by Quinton de Kock as the in-form wicketkeeper-batter drove a full-pitched delivery through deep square leg. De Kock then struck three boundaries, including a six, off Taskin's second over.
Having elected to bat first, South Africa are 31 for one after three overs.
