New head coach Cabrera arrives in Dhaka

Javier Cabrera, the latest head coach of Bangladesh national football team, has arrived in Dhaka tonight, according to a press release from the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).   

"Finally I arrived in Dhaka. Here I'm very happy. I've very much waited to start this amazing project and meeting all the team players at the federation," said the 37-year-old Spaniard after landing at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport tonight.    

Cabrera, who the BFF appointed till December 2022, is a UEFA Pro licenced coach, last acted as the academy coach of La Liga side Deportvo Alaves. The Spaniard also worked as the technical director of Sporting Goa, an Indian outfit, from 2013 to 2015. He had also worked with Rayo Majadahondo, a Spanish second division side.
