Hamza, Jamal extend Eid greetings
Bangladesh's biggest football star at the moment, Hamza Choudhury, along with national team captain Jamal Bhuiyan, wished everyone a happy Eid on Monday as the country celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr today.
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) shared a video on its official Facebook page featuring messages from both players.
"Assalamualaikum everyone, just wanted to wish everyone Eid Mubarak from me and my family. May Allah bless you all. See you all soon, In Sha Allah," said Hamza, who made his debut for Bangladesh in a goalless draw against India in an AFC Asian Cup Qualifier last month.
Following the match, Hamza returned to England, where he plays in the Premier League for Sheffield United.
Jamal, who did not feature in the game against India in Shillong, expressed his hope that everyone in the country is enjoying this joyous occasion with their families.
"Assalamualaikum everyone. Eid Mubarak. Hope everyone is enjoying with their families. Stay well, everyone," said Jamal.
