Federation Cup final resumes after rain delay

The Federation Cup final between holders Bashundhara Kings and Abahani resumed after heavy rain halted proceedings two minutes into the second-half at the Rofique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh on Tuesday.

The first-half saw the teams tied at 1-1 with Mohammad Ibrahim's 35th-minute strike cancelling out Eduard Lescano's sixth-minute opener for Kings.

 

Heavy shower stops Federation Cup final

The Federation Cup final between holders Bashundhara Kings and Abahani was halted for heavy showers at the Rofique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh on Tuesday.

Referee Saymon Hasan signaled the players to into the dressing rooms just two minutes into the second half.

The heavy shower with gusty wind saw the dugout of both teams displaced while the spectators entered the ground crossing the fence before the volunteers intervened to clear the playing area.
