Tigers, Tigresses included in Australia’s 2026–27 home calendar
Cricket Australia has confirmed its international schedule for the 2026–27 season, with Bangladesh’s men’s and women’s teams both set to tour the country.
The Bangladesh men will play a two-Test series in August 2026, their first Test tour of Australia since 2008. The opening Test is scheduled in Darwin from August 13–17, followed by the second in Mackay from August 22–26, with the latter venue set to host its first-ever Test.
Bangladesh women are also included in the fixtures, with their tour slated for October this year. It will mark the first time the Bangladesh women will play a bilateral series in Australia.
All three ODIs will be day-night matches, scheduled on October 9, 11 and 14 in Brisbane. The ODI matches will form part of the women's ODI Championship, which determines qualification and seeding for the next women's ODI World Cup in 2029
Bangladesh will play three T20Is under lights at North Sydney Oval on October 18, 20 and 22.
