Pakistan team land in Dhaka for ODI series

A 15-member Pakistan squad has landed in Dhaka today ahead of the three-match ODI series against the hosts, starting on March 11.

Led by pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi, the Pakistan contingent landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the Bangladesh capital in the early hours of the day.

Earlier on Saturday, Pakistan team’s support staff arrived in Dhaka in a separate contingent.

The Pakistan team have two practice sessions scheduled for Monday and Tuesday in Mirpur before the first ODI on Wednesday.

The second and third match will take place on Friday and Sunday respectively. All three matches will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

This is set to be the first bilateral series between the sides in Bangladeshi soil in over a decade. The previous series had taken place in Dhaka in April 2015.
