Pakistan to arrive tomorrow

Star Sports Report

Pakistan will be arriving in the country tomorrow morning for a three-match T20I series and two World Test Championship fixtures against Bangladesh this month.

Pakistan are expected to touch the ground at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at around 8:10am from Dubai, where they lost the semifinal of the ongoing T20 World Cup against Australia by five wickets.

The Pakistan team will directly enter the bio-secure bubble at a hotel in the capital after landing. According to the government-mandated protocols, the players can start practicing from the next day given they return negative Covid tests after arrival.

Pakistan will be playing the first of the three T20Is against Bangladesh on November 19 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. The second and third T20Is will be on November 20 and 22 respectively at the same venue.

All the T20Is will be starting from 2:00pm Bangladesh time.

The teams will then travel to Chattogram to face off in the first Test from November 26 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. They will then return to Dhaka for the final fixture of the tour, the second Test, which will be played from December 4 in Mirpur.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik, however, will join the team in Bangladesh on November 16 ahead of the first T20I.
