Mashrafe told to stay pain free

Mashrafe Bin Mortaza who suffered a hamstring injury at the last moment before the series against Sri Lanka was advised to stay away from all cricketing activities by the team physician chief Debashish Chowdhury for 21 days.

"Mashrafe has been suggested to stay away from all activities for 20 days. He is asked to stay out of pain." said Debashish.

However, the 35-year old who went through several surgeries on his knee in the early stages of his career was feeling well after the rest.

"We talked to him a few days ago; he is not feeling the pain doing usual activities. We will reach out to him after the eid holidays again." said the chief physician.

All the Bangladesh players have been included under the Work-load Management Programme to keep proper track of their injuries. Each player is given specific training rules which they have to follow.
