Hasan Mahmud returns as Bangladesh opt to bat against Pakistan
Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the T20 tri-nation series in Christchurch today.
With the Tigers already knocked out from the tri-nation series, this game becomes a dead rubber. However, Shakib and Co will be looking to make the most out of it – as they keep searching for their best possible combinations and tactical clarity in the format -- with the T20 World Cup fast approaching.
Bangladesh have made one change from their last match against New Zealand. Batter Mosaddek Hossain makes way for pacer Hasan Mahmud. Meanwhile, Pakistan have also made a single change, with Mohammad Hasnain replacing Shahnawaz Dahani.
Playing XI:
Bangladesh: Najmul Hossain Shanto, Soumya Sarkar, Litton Das, Shakib al Hasan (C), Afif Hossain, Nurul Hasan, Yasir Ali, Mohammad Saifuddin, Ebadot Hossain, Shoriful Islam, Hasan Mahmud.
