Windies power-up in death overs to post 142 for 7
Windies lost a wicket in the first delivery of the 20th over as Fizz bagged his second wicket of the game. However, Holder hit Fizz for two back-to-back sixes and the Pollard, who went off retired hurt earlier but returned at the fall of Bravo's wicket, hit another six on the last delivery as Windies posted 142 for 7 in the T20 World Cup Super 12 fixture against Bangladesh.
Shoriful's double strike ends Chase-Pooran stand
Shoriful dealt a blow with his double strike off back-to-back deliveries in the 19th over to remove Pooran and Chase. Pooran (40 off 22) tried to carve Shoriful thorugh mid on but was holed out, Naim taking the catch comfortably. Next delivery, Chase's (39 off 46) leg-stump is sent flying by Shoriful. Afif ends the over by dropping a simple catch at deep cover to let Jason Holder off the hook.
Chase, Pooran accelerate
Windies have finally found two big overs, that too against Bangladesh's key threats Mustafizur Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan. Pooran and Chase managed 14 off the 15th over bowled by Fizz before Pooran hit back-to-back sixes off Shakib in an 15-run over.
Pollard walks off retired hurt before Taskin inflicts Russell run-out
Everything is happening out there. Taskin came in to bowl the 13th over of the innings and Kieron Pollard walked off the pitch retired hurt for a 16-ball 8. Next delivery, Roston Chase drives well and Taskin only manages to get a foot to the ball, but that seems to have done the trick as the ball hits the wickets at the non-striker's end with Andre Russell -- the new batsman in -- out of his crease. Russell gone without facing a ball. That's sort of a double breakthrough for the Tigers. Shakib should have had Roston Chase's wicket in the next over, but Mahedi makes a meal of an easy catch and drops it. WI are 70 for 5 after 14 overs.
Tigers keep Windies in check
Windies are 48 for three as Shakib Al Hasan completes the 10th over of the innings. The ace all-rounder is struggling to move around, wearing a painful grimace on his face after each delivery, which would suggest some sort of cramp.
Mahedi strikes again after dropped catch
ovr 6.3 - Roston Chase thumps it straight to Mahedi but he can't keep it in his palms. Ball loops out of his hands. Dropped
ovr 6.4 - Mahedi has made up for the dropped catch somehow as Shimron Hetmyer tries to clear the field but only finds Soumya Sarkar at long off. Mahedi bags another crucial wicket.
Shakib Al Hasan had gone off the field earlier but he is back on the field. Appeared to have been some sort of cramp. Still trying to shake it off by the looks of it but Shakib does not look entirely comfortable.
Tigers strike early with Fizz, Mahedi
Mahedi Hasan bowls an arm-ball the goes past Chris Gayle's drive and disturbs his stumps. Mahedi lulled him in to the drive and then the gap appeared for the ball to slip through. Bangladesh are off to a good start with both Windies openers back in the hut. WI are 21 for 2 in five overs.
Fizz removes dangerman Lewis
Mustafizur Rahman does exactly what was required of him as he removes Windies opener Evin Lewis in his first over. Lewis did not manage to get under the ball as he tried to whack it through square leg. Mushfiqur Rahim came running in to take an easy catch. Lewis had been Windies' main man in the last game against South Africa and his wicket would bolster the Tigers here. Mustafizur's first over produces 3 runs and a wicket. Windies are 12 for 1 at the end of the third over.
