BCL team draft held
The draft of the ninth edition of the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) was held today at the BCB headquarters in Mirpur.
The franchise-based competition will see the teams play one-day matches after the completion of the usual four-day encounters.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. All the participating teams -- Walton Central Zone, BCB South Zone, Islami Bank East Zone and BCB North Zone -- retained six players from the previous season.
The tournament will begin on December 10. The four-day matches will be played first in a single-league format with the top two sides playing in the final. The one-dayers will also be played in the same format.
