Asia Cup Rising Stars: Will Pakistan Women’s A play India A?

The Pakistan Women’s A team is set to play India Women’s A team in the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 in Bangkok. However, ESPNcricinfo has learned that the Pakistan side has not yet received any instructions regarding the status of their match against India A.

For now, Pakistan A’s preparations for the tournament are proceeding as normal. The game against India A is scheduled for February 15 at 2pm local time, the same day the Pakistan men’s team was originally set to face India in the T20 World Cup before a boycott was announced by the Government of Pakistan.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the squad for the women’s A side on Sunday, confirming India is in the same group as Pakistan and listing the game on the schedule as planned.

The 20-over tournament will run from February 13 to 22 in Bangkok. Pakistan is in Group A alongside India A, UAE, and Nepal. Group B includes Bangladesh A, Sri Lanka A, Malaysia, and hosts Thailand. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals after playing three matches each.
