In the Tier-1 game at the Shahid Kamruzzaman stadium in Rajshahi, where rain was once again the spoil sport, Khulna scored 77 for 3 in 22.2 against Rangpur. Opening batsman Anamul Haque remained unbeaten on 47 off 76 balls with seven fours and a six before Khulna lost the wickets of Robiul Islam (18), Mahedi Hasan (2) and Tushar Imran (2) in the span of 18 runs before rain forced the day's play to a close.

Left-arm spinner Sohrawardi Shuvo bagged two wickets while Ariful haque took one for Rangpur.

Meanwhile, the Tier-2 game in Bogra between Rajshahi and Sylhet was abandoned without a single ball being bowled due to a wet outfield.
