The Bangladesh team's tune-up on their tour of West Indies continued apace with the pace bowlers coming to the party on the second day yesterday after Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah Riyad's centuries on the first day of the two-day practice match against CWI President's XI at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.

All four pacers in the Bangladesh squad -- Rubel Hossain, Kamrul Islam, Shafiul Islam and Abu Jayed -- got wickets as the CWI President's XI scored 310 for eight in 85 overs in response to the Tigers' 402 for eight on the first day. The match ended in a draw, with Shimron Hetmyer scoring 123 for the hosts.

Jayed and Shafiul took two wickets each while Rubel, Kamrul, Mahmudullah and Mominul picked up a wicket each.

The home side were cut down to 55 for three in the first session. Opener John Campbell was trapped in front by Jayed for a duck, while number three Shayne Moseley also left without scoring when he was caught behind off Rubel, Bangladesh's most experienced pacer on tour.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul, son of West Indies batting legend Shivnarine Chanderpaul, hung around for 24 before being bowled by Kamrul to depart with the score on 55. A 72 from Shemar Brooks and 86 from West Indies' Under-19 World Cup winning captain Shimron Hetmeyer -- who was unbeaten at tea -- repaired the damage until the former was trapped in front by Shafiul.

The first Test against the West Indies starts in Antigua from July 4.
