The Bangladesh Premier League match between Chittagong Vikings and Comilla Victorians was interrupted due to a light drizzle which led to play beginning 10 minutes late.

The weather, which had remained sunny throughout the day became downcast as a light drizzle started to fall. After play started, with Vikings choosing to bat, the overcast conditions led to further rain upon which play was stopped. Only one over was possible before rain stopped play.

After a while the sun smiled once more to loud cheers from the gathering crowd at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram and play began again after a few minutes. Following the restart, Chittagong, who need a win to secure top-four finish, lost four quick wickets.
