Khelaghar SKS outplay BKSP

Khelaghar SKS registered a comfortable eight-wicket win over BKSP in the Women's Premier Division Cricket League in Savar, BKSP yesterday.

Opting to bat first, BKSP were in all sorts of trouble as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were eventually bundled out on 96 runs in 43.1 overs.

Sanjida Akter top scored with 28 while Nahida Akter added 23 and was the only other notable performer. Fahima Khatun was the pick of the bowlers for Khelaghar, taking four wickets while Rita Moni bagged three and Labone picked up two to dismiss their opponents on a low total.

Khelghar then reached the target in 25.2 overs for the loss of two wickets as skipper Rita remained unbeaten and scored the highest for her side with 26 runs while Nigar Sultana added 23 to clinch an easy win.
