Subtle rigging in vote counting: Shakhawat

BNP nominated mayor candidate Shakhawat Hossain Khan blamed the Election Commission officials for “subtle rigging in vote counting” in the just ended Narayanganj City Corporation election.

“Subtle rigging has been committed in counting the votes,” Shakhawat said in an instant reaction just after the election in the city was concluded.

The present Election Commission has played its role in line with the directives of the government and that has been proved again in the election.

“Result of the election is being changed. I will make a formal reaction after getting the official result,” the BNP candidate said while talking to reporters at his election campaign office in the city.
