NCC Polls: Ivy demands withdrawal of Siddhirganj OC

Awami League-backed mayoral candidate Selina Hayat Ivy today demanded withdrawal of Siddhirganj Police Station’s officer-in-charge (OC) over his “controversial” role in the upcoming Narayanganj City Corporation election.

She made the demand while talking to the journalists during her election campaign in the city, reports a Narayanganj correspondent.

“I demand withdrawal of the Siddhirganj’s OC for his controversial roles,” she said without mentioning any specific reason.

Being optimistic, she said, “Despite all conspiracies of different quarters, I’ll win if the election commission and law enforcers remain strict.”

She also said that she would accept the verdict of the people in the election, scheduled to be held on December 22.
