Jubo league leader shot dead in Dhaka

A Jubo league leader was shot dead by unknown miscreants in Sutrapur area of Dhaka early today.

Deceased Rajib Hasan, 38, was jubo Dal deputy finance secretary of Dhaka city south unit and a resident of Kajla in the capital’s Demra area, reports our correspondent quoting police.

Tapan Kumar Saha, officer-in-charge of Sutrapur Police Station said Rajib went out of his home around 5:00pm on Friday and did not return.

Later, locals found his bullet-hit body on Rokonpur road in the area around 12:30am today. Later, his body was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

However, the official could not immediately ascertain the reason behind this murder.
