Goyeshwar now takes a jibe at own party men
BNP’s standing committee member Goyeshwar Chandra Roy today took a swipe at his own party men blaming them for their “lack of dedication” to make the party’s activities a success.
“BNP could have been in power had the party men put half of their efforts into making their movement a success,” he told at a programme of Dhaka city unit.
“The county could have been ruled by Khaleda Zia, not Sheikh Hasina, had the BNP leaders showed activeness they are now demonstrating to get party posts,” the BNP senior leader said.
He was speaking at a view-exchange meeting held at Bhasani auditorium in Dhaka ahead of the party’s sixth national council scheduled to be held for March 19.
Accusing the government of conspiring to foil BNP’s March 19 council, he called upon the party leaders and activists to remain alert to make their council a success thwarting all plots and evil designs.
