Falu quits party post

Mosaddek Ali Falu, newly made vice chairman of BNP, has resigned from the post without citing any reason. 

He was previously an adviser to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, Ntv reports.

He quit the party post hours after BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the full list of the party’s national executive committee, vice chairmen, advisers and standing committee members.

Party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the committee at a press briefing at BNP's Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka.
