BNP’s policy-level meeting tonight

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will sit with members of the party’s standing committee tonight to discuss the country’s current political situation.

The meeting will be held at the BNP chief’s Gulshan office around 8:30pm tonight, Sayrul Kabir Khan, a staff of Khaleda’s media wing, told The Daily Star.

Discussion on formation of the next Election Commission and BNP’s position on the issue will take place in the meeting with Khaleda in the chair, party insiders said.

Besides, tomorrow, Khaleda will also sit with the party’s vice chairmen over the same issue.
